Khudobin, Riddle Recalled to Houston

BEAUMONT, TX (Feb. 6, 2008) - The Texas Wildcatters and Head Coach and V.P. of Hockey Operations Malcolm Cameron announced Wednesday that goaltender Anton Khudobin and forward Troy Riddle have been recalled to the Houston Aeros of the AHL.

Khudobin (19-1-1-3), has appeared in 26 games for Texas, has logged 1489 minutes of play, and is currently third among ECHL goalies with a 2.06 GAA and .932 save percentage. He made 27 saves in his most recent appearance, shutting out the Florida Everblades 2-0 on Friday, Feb. 1.

In 13 GP for the Wildcatters, Riddle has logged nine points (3g-6a) and 18 PIM.

The Wildcatters (35-4-3-4) leave Texas today for their longest road trip of the season, a 10-day, six-game swing through the Carolinas and up into the frigid climate of the North Division.

The set begins Friday with a 6:05 CT game versus the Columbia Inferno (18-18-4-6).
