Celebrate Father's Day With The Baysox

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox will host a Father's Day Barbecue, Sunday, June 21, at Prince George's Stadium as the team takes on the New Britain Rock Cats at 2:05 p.m. Fans can enjoy a two-hour all-you-can-eat buffet, play catch on the field and meet the Baysox players and coaches! Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. Fans will be allowed on the field to play catch from 12:30 - 1:15 p.m., and Baysox players and coaches will sign autographs along the concourse at that time. Pitching Coach Larry McCall and that day's starting pitcher and catcher will not be available for autographs. The two-hour buffet begins at 1 p.m., and features a grilled sausage station, pulled pork barbecue sandwiches, grilled all-beef hot dogs, soft drinks, desserts and more. The grilled sausage station features hot and mild Italian sausage, bratwurst and chorizo.

Who:

Father's Day Barbecue tickets are $27 for fans ages 12 and up, $19 for fans ages 6-12 and FREE for fans ages 5 and under. To purchase tickets for the barbecue, contact Vince Riggs at (301) 464-4885 by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17.

Meet the Team and Catch on the Field are open to all fans with a ticket to the game.

When:

Sunday, June 21. Gates open at 12:30 p.m., and the game starts at 2:05 p.m.
