Casey Crosby Named to Eastern League All-Star Game

(Erie, PA) - The Erie SeaWolves, Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, are pleased to announce that left-handed starting pitcher Casey Crosby has been named to the Eastern League All-Star game which will be held on July 13 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Crosby will join RHP Jacob Turner, 3B Francisco Martinez and INF/OF Justin Henry as Erie's representatives at the annual Eastern League Mid-Summer Classic.
Chance Ruffin, who was named an Eastern League All-Star, was promoted to Triple-A Toledo and will not participate in the game.
Both Turner and Martinez will play in the 2011 XM All-Stars Futures Game at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ on July 10. They are expected to play in both the Futures Game and the Eastern League All-Star Game.
The SeaWolves continue an eight-game road trip tonight at Metro Bank Park against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals), 7:00 p.m. first pitch.
