
Rosters Changes Announced for Wednesday's Eastern League All-Star Game

Manchester, NH - The Eastern League, in conjunction with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, today announced three changes to the Western Division roster for the Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 13th at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, NH.
Erie SeaWolves left-handed starter Casey Crosby has been added to the Western Division roster in place of Erie's Chance Ruffin, who had been promoted to the Toledo Mud Hens of the Triple-A International League. In 14 games for the SeaWolves this season Crosby has a record of 5-2 with 63 strikeouts and a 3.42 ERA in 73.2 innings pitched.
Akron Aeros right-handed reliever Cory Burns is being added to the Western Division roster in place of Bowie's Pedro Viola, who was promoted to the Baltimore Orioles. Burns has collected a league-high 22 saves this season and has a record of 2-3 with 45 strikeouts and a 2.36 ERA over 34.1 innings pitched.
Richmond Flying Squirrels catcher Johnny Monell will be added to the Western Division roster in place of Akron's Chun Chen, who will be unable to attend the All-Star Game due to an injury. Monell is batting .240 (58-for-242) with 12 doubles, nine homers and 35 RBI in 73 games for the Flying Squirrels this season.
Festivities for the 2011 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game begin with the free HR Concepts Total Access All-Star Block Party at Veteran's Park in downtown Manchester, NH on Tuesday, July 12. The event, which runs from 5:30pm-10:00pm, includes live entertainment from comedian Jimmy Dunn and music from Mama Kicks! along with face painting and inflatable rides for the kids.
