Canucks Recall Nicklas Jensen

Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled right wing Nicklas Jensen from the Utica Comets.

Jensen, 21, currently ranks second on the Comets in goals scored with 15 through 51 games played. The 6'3", 197 pound winger has registered 28 points (21-7-28) in 77 career AHL games and has played two games with Vancouver.

On the international stage, the Herning, Denmark, native has dressed for Denmark on six occasions, most recently at the 2013 World Championships where he recorded two goals in three games to tie for second on the team in goals scored. He has collected three silver medals and one gold medal (2011 Division I Group B) in international play.
