Rockford, Ill. - Heading into tonight's game against their Midwest Division foe, the Rockford IceHogs (30-22-5-3) are one spot ahead of the Milwaukee Admirals (25-19-6-6) in the Midwest standings with four more games played. The puck drop at the BMO Harris Bradley Center at 7 p.m. is the front-end of a home-and-home, and will mark the eighth contest between these two teams on the season.

After recording a goal on Tuesday night, his team-leading 22nd of the season, Jeremy Morin extended his point streak to 13 games, tying himself with Spencer Abbott (Toronto Marlies) and Vladislav Namestnikov (Syracuse Crunch) for the longest point streaks in the AHL this season. The Auburn, N.Y. winger has notched 11g-9a-20pts during his hot streak and received the CCM/AHL Player of the Month for February. Morin is tied with Mark McNeill for the team-lead in goals against Milwaukee with three.
Milwaukee is being paced by the rookie combination of center Colton Sissons and left wing Miikka Salomaki. Sissons leads the Ads in goals with 20 while Salomaki tops the team list for assists with 25.
Despite losing three of the first four matchups between the Ads and IceHogs, Rockford has won three straight against Milwaukee. Overall this seas, the IceHogs are 4-3-0-0 against the Admirals and six of the seven games have been decided by two or fewer goals.
Next Game: Saturday, Mar. 8 vs. Milwaukee Admirals: Game time is at 7 p.m. The game is Autism Awareness night at the BMO and Autism Awareness Ribbon Magnets will be handed out. Local singer/songwriter Anthony Billups will be performing live pre-game and during intermissions. Billups is from Rockton, Ill. and is featured on A&E's new reality tv series, Crazy Hearts: Nashville.
