
Portland Pirates Announce Eight Guaranteed Dates for '14-'15

Portland, Maine - The Portland Pirates, AHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes, announced the dates and promotions for eight guaranteed dates for the 2014-15 season as the team returns to the Cumberland County Civic Center. This will be the 21st season for the Pirates and the 36th year of the American Hockey League in Portland.
The complete listing on the eight announced Pirates home dates is as follows (all games listed to be played at the Cumberland County Civic Center):
- Saturday, October 11th, 7 PM - Home Opener & Boy Scout Night
- Saturday, October 25th, 7 PM - Pink in the Rink Night
- Saturday, November 8th, 7 PM - Military Appreciation Night
- Friday, November 14th, 7:30 PM - Word of Life & Youth Ministry Night
- Friday, November 28th, 7 PM - Black Friday
- Wednesday, December 31st, 5:30 PM - New Year's Eve Game (featuring the largest indoor fireworks display in the northeast)
- Saturday, February 7th, 7 PM - Throwback Jersey Night
- Sunday, February 22nd, 4 PM - Post Game Skate with the Team
Group tickets for the announced dates and flex packs for the 2014-15 season are now on sale. The Pirates are offering traditional group tickets starting as low as $13 a ticket with All-Access Experiences, Broomball, Intermission events and Youth Hockey and Birthday packages all available for purchase now. Flex Packs are available in sets of 10 and 30 and can be redeemed for any of the 38 Pirates regular season home games at the Cumberland County Civic Center in 2014-15 in any amount. To order a flex pack, call 207-828-4665. Individual game tickets will be on sale at a later date.

The Cumberland County Civic Center recently completed a 33 million dollar renovation, which includes improvements to concessions, concourses, the addition of premium seating (club seats, suites and loges) and more. Fans at the Civic Center will have more food and beverage options, enjoy the comfort of new seats, and enjoy a state of the art viewing experience for Pirates hockey games.
