Abbotsford Heat News Release
Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that they have signed forward Jordan Knackstedt.
Knackstedt, a native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is a veteran of 209 AHL games and is a former 7th round pick of the Boston Bruins in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. This season with the Bakersfield Condors (ECHL), Knackstedt has appeared in 54 games recording 36 points (15-21-36) and 67 penalty minutes.
This weekend the Heat will return to action, facing off against the Chicago Wolves (AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues) on Saturday, March 8th and Sunday, March 9th . Saturday will feature the next $3, $2, $1 Brew Dog'n Pop night. March 8th will also be Punjabi night, showcasing Punjabi food, music and dance.
