Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have assigned forward Christian Thomas to the Bulldogs. The 21-year-old forward will make his season debut tonight for Hamilton after missing the first 14 games of the season due to injury.

In 73 regular season games with Connecticut, he recorded 35 points (19 goals, 16 assists) and 15 penalty minutes. He was originally selected by the Rangers in the second round (40th overall) in the 2010 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Canadiens from the Rangers in exchange for forward Danny Kristo on July 2, 2013.

Hamilton's next game is scheduled for tonight, Friday, November 15th, when they will host the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL Affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at Copps Coliseum at 7:30 p.m.
