
Anaheim Reassigns Peter Holland to Norfolk

ANAHEIM, CA -- The Anaheim Ducks announced Friday that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned center Peter Holland to the Norfolk Admirals, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Holland, 22, has scored a goal and a -1 rating in four appearances with the Ducks this season. Holland was recalled by the Ducks on Thursday, but did not play for Anaheim in last night's game at Tampa Bay. The 6-2, 185-pound forward has posted six points (4g, 2a) and a +1 rating in nine games played with Norfolk this season.
Last season, Holland appeared in 21 games for Anaheim posting five points (3g, 2a) and a +4 rating. In addition, Holland also played 45 games for Norfolk, totaling 39 points (19g, 20a) and 68 penalty minutes. He was selected to the 2013 AHL Eastern Conference All-Star team but did not play in the game due to being recalled to Anaheim at the time. Holland posted 60 points (23g, 37a) in 71 regular season appearances with the Syracuse Crunch during the 2011-12 season. The Caledon, Ontario native is a first round (15th overall) draft selection of Anaheim in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Admirals return home for a pair of games against the Portland Pirates on Nov. 22 & 23. The Nov. 22 game is Military Appreciation Night; All military personnel may purchase tickets for $10 when they present their valid Military I.D. to the Scope Box Office.
