
Bulldogs Drop Marlies 4-2 at Copps Coliseum

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs defeated the Toronto Marlies by a score of 4-2 tonight at Copps Coliseum.
Carter Ashton tallied the lone goal of the opening period on a powerplay at 6:27. Hamilton tied the game at 3:45 of the middle frame on Mike Blunden's seventh goal of the season. The Marlies regained the lead on a Sam Carrick shorthanded marker just before the midway point of the period. Mike Blunden's second goal of the night evened the game at two before the start of the final frame. Sven Andrighetto and Martin St. Pierre scored the lone third period goals to give Hamilton a 4-2 victory.
Toronto returns to the ice on Monday, December 30 when they travel to Comerica Park in Detroit for a 5 p.m. game against the Grand Rapids Griffins, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings.
