
Hogs Look to Get Back on Track vs. Griffs

Rockford, Ill. - Two teams looking to get back in the win column face-off tonight at the BMO Harris Bank Center as the Rockford IceHogs (15-14-3-0) take on the Grand Rapids Griffins (21-7-1-1) at 7 p.m. tonight. This game will mark the sixth time that the IceHogs and Griffins have played each other this season.

You can tune into tonight's game against the Griffins beginning at 6:30 p.m. with IceHogs Warm Up on Antenna TV 23.2, Comcast channel 436, Charter 970, Mediacom 101 or online at AHLLive.com.
After going on a five-game point streak earlier this month, the IceHogs are in the midst of a four-game losing streak. Three of the losses in the streak have come away from the BMO and as Rockford hosts Grand Rapids tonight, the IceHogs are 9-4-0-0 at home on the season and 11-3-0-1 versus the Griffins at home over the last five seasons.
IceHogs winger Garret Ross has three points (2g-1a) over his last two games despite dropping both contests. After his current run of success, the Dearborn Heights, Michigan native is now tied for second on the team in goals with eight.
The Midwest Division leading Griffins have dropped their last two contests after winning eight of their previous nine before that. Grand Rapids has only dropped one standings point against Rockford this season, going 4-0-0-1.
Leading the Griffins in points is winger Teemu Pulkkinen with 25 points (11g-14a) and shows points in 11 of his last 12 games (4g-8a). The Vaanta, Finland native has six points (5g-1a) in five games against Rockford this season.
Next Home Game: Monday, Dec. 30 vs. Charlotte Checkers. Game time is 7 p.m. In the first contest on a Monday for the IceHogs, Rockford hosts Charlotte for the seventh time this season. The first 1,000 kids, 14 and under, will receive an IceHogs Youth Jersey courtesy of Rockford Orthopedic.
