Bouma Recalled to Flames

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that forward Lance Bouma has been recalled from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Bouma, a native of Provost, AB, appeared in five games with the Flames in his first call up to the NHL. During that time he recorded his first NHL point, an assist on February 7. Playing in his first professional season, he has recorded 12 goals and 8 assists for 20 points while accumulating 53 penalty minutes in 58 games with the Heat. Bouma was Calgary's 3rd round pick (78th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
