
Bochenski Sets AHL Admirals Goal Scoring Record

HARTFORD, Conn. - Brandon Bochenski became the AHL Admirals all-time leading goal scorer tonight in Hartford when he scored a power play goal 14:49 into the first period against Wolf Pack goaltender Chad Johnson. The goal was his 77th as an Admiral in his 140th career Admirals game.
The record had belonged to Casey Hankinson, who scored 76 goals as an Admiral in 219 games from 2000-01 to 2002-03.
Bochenski also has two assists in addition to the goal tonight in Hartford as the Admirals lead the Wolf Pack 5-1 after two periods.
In 140 career games as an Admiral, Bochenski has 77 goals and 77 assists for 154 points. He ranks fifth in points, seventh in assists, first in power play goals (34) and first in game-winning goals (15) in AHL Admirals history.
Bochenski also holds the record for most goals in a single AHL Admirals game (4, 11/25/06 vs. Philadelphia), co-owns the record for most assists in a single game (4, 11/18/06 vs. Binghamton) and co-owns the record for longest point streak in AHL Admirals history (14 games from 11/12/06 - 12/27/06).
After tonight's game in Hartford, the Admirals return to Scope on Friday and Saturday for a pair of games against the Springfield Falcons. Friday night is Hall of Fame Night as Dennis McEwen and Rick Kowalsky are inducted into the Admirals Hall of Fame. Saturday night is Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Night with discounted fundraising tickets available. Saturday is also the final post-game skate of the season.
