MGG Named Official Authenticator Of AHL Mirabito Outdoor Classic
February 17, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Binghamton Senators News Release
The Syracuse Crunch and Binghamton Senators announced today that MeiGray Group has been named the Official Authenticator and Game-Worn Source of the Mirabito Outdoor Classic, the AHL's first-ever outdoor game, featuring the host Crunch and the Senators at the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday, February 20 at 1 p.m.
MeiGray will be on-site to authenticate goal-scored and game-used pucks from this historic game, game-worn jerseys from the Crunch and Senators branded with the unique Mirabito Outdoor Classic logo, and selected other game-used and game-worn items from the clubs.
All authenticated items from the game will be available to collectors across the globe via NHL Auctions beginning Tuesday, February 23.
Most notably, proceeds from the mask worn in the pre-game warm-up by Binghamton Senators goaltender Chris Holt will go to Fisher House, the unique private-public partnership that supports America's military in their time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and the hardships of military service by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.
Mirabito Energy Products, the title sponsor of the Mirabito Outdoor Classic, is a New York-based company that has been providing energy needs for families and businesses throughout upstate New York since 1927. Mirabito Energy Products offers a variety of products including heating oil, propane, natural gas, coal, gasoline, diesel fuels, kerosene, and lubricants.
