In Tuesday's action, defenseman Andrew Hutchinson registered a goal and two assists and Richard Bachman earned his first AHL shutout as Texas blanked Hamilton, 5-0... Marco Rosa tallied two goals and an assist in Manitoba's 6-3 win at Rochester... Alex Stalock made 21 saves for his 30th win as Worcester downed Springfield, 6-0... On Monday, Kyle Wanvig racked up four points (2-2-4) as Portand collected its ninth straight win, a 7-4 decision over Hartford.

Something has to give tonight in Rosemont, Ill., when the San Antonio brings its three-game winning streak and five-game points streak (4-0-0-1) into town to battle a Chicago club which has won four straight and has a point in its last 10 (8-0-0-2)... Chicago has won all three previous meetings between the teams this season, all on the road... The Rampage are 6-1-0-2 thus far on their 14-game road trip... Reigning Reebok/AHL Player of the Week Justin Pogge stopped 97 of 100 shots in three San Antonio victories last weekend... Brett MacLean is riding a five-game scoring streak (3-4-7) for the Rampage, and former NHL first-round draft pick Mikkel Boedker shows a point in his last four games played (3-2-5)... Wolves forward Jason Krog has a goal in three straight outings (3-2-5), and 2010 AHL All-Star Ivan Vishnevskiy shows an assist in all three games since joining the Wolves via trade... Chicago goaltender Peter Mannino is on a personal nine-game winning streak and leads all AHL goaltenders in goals-against average (1.76) and save percentage (.940) in 22 appearances (17-3-0).
Winners of three straight games for the first time since late December, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton hosts Albany in an East Division battle on Wednesday... The Penguins are 17-11-0-0 on home ice this season compared to a 9-15-1-1 mark on the road... Luca Caputi has racked up 15 points (6-9-15) in 12 games since returning to Wilkes-Barre from an NHL stint with Pittsburgh... Dustin Jeffrey is on a three-game scoring streak (2-2-4) for the Pens and is averaging a point per game on the season (16-35-51 in 51 games)... Mark Letestu has three points (2-1-3) in two games against Albany on the season... The second-place River Rats have garnered a point in four of five games (3-1-0-1) since dropping three straight in regulation from Jan. 30 to Feb. 5... Jiri Tlusty is on a six-game scoring streak (5-3-8) since returning from parent-club Carolina, and 2010 AHL All-Star defenseman Bryan Rodney is on a five-game scoring run (1-8-9) for the Rats... Fellow Albany defenseman Jamie McBain has found the scoresheet in each of his last seven contests (1-10-11).
Fresh off a 6-3 win in Rochester, Manitoba heads to Toronto on Wednesday for the first time this season... The Moose went 3-1-0-0 against the Marlies in Winnipeg this season, including a split of two contests last weekend... Marco Rosa has 4-3-7 in his last three games and paces the Moose with 18 goals and 39 points in 56 games overall... Dan Sexton shows six points (3-3-6) in five games since being assisgned to the Moose by the NHL's Anaheim Ducks, while Michael Grabner brings a three-game goal-scoring streak (4-1-5) into Wednesday's action... Toronto has managed just five goals in four meetings with Manitoba this season and owns the AHL's 26th-ranked offense overall (2.46 goals per game), just one slot below the Moose (2.57)... Kyle Calder is riding a four-game scoring streak (2-3-5) for Toronto... Rookies Christian Hanson (12-27-29) and Viktor Stalberg (11-18-29) are tied for second on the team in scoring.

In Tuesday's Olympic hockey preliminary-round action from Vancouver, 2008 AHL All-Star Bobby Ryan notched a goal to help the United States to a 3-1 win over Switzerland... 2000 AHL All-Star Dan Boyle had two assists and was plus-4, and 2005 Calder Cup champion Mike Richards notched a goal in Canada's 8-0 romp over Norway.
