
Bluess Call on T.J. Hensick

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager, Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled forward T.J. Hensick from the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Hensick, 24, has played in 13 games for Peoria this season, leading the team with 15 points and tying for the team lead with six goals and nine assists. In 2009-10, the 5'10, 190-pound forward spent the majority of the year with the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters, leading the team and recording career highs in points (70) and assists (50) while also scoring a career best 20 goals in 58 games played. During his four year professional career, Hensick has accumulated 99 games of NHL experience, all with the Colorado Avalanche, totaling 35 points including 11 goals and 24 assists.
The Lansing, Michigan native was originally drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the third round, 88th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by St. Louis from Colorado in exchange for Julian Talbot on June 17, 2010.
