Belle, Jacques Recalled by Oilers

Oklahoma City - The Edmonton Oilers, parent team of the Oklahoma City Barons, recalled forward J.F. Jacques and defenseman Shawn Belle, Oilers general manager Steve Tambellini announced today.

Jacques, was assigned to Oklahoma City November 2 on a two-week conditioning assignment. The 6-4, 217-pounder, scored one goal and served 15 penalty minutes in four games played.

Belle, has appeared in each of the 17 Barons games this season, recording 15 points (2-13-15) and serving 21 penalty minutes. His 15 points leads all American Hockey League rearguards. Belle is the first Barons player to be recalled by the Oilers this season.

The Oilers host the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow and the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday.
