Blades holding annual Teddy Bear Toss this Saturday

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades will be holding their annual holiday "Teddy Bear Toss" presented by the Bear Mill on Saturday, December 15, 2007 when they host the Texas Wildcatters at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena.
The Everblades ask all fans to bring an unwrapped stuffed toy with them to the game and toss it onto the ice when the Everblades score their first goal! This season the stuffed toys will help benefit several South West Florida youth organizations including Toys for Tots, The Lee County Sheriffs Department Youth Programs and Barbara's Friends.
Last season over 4,000 stuffed toys were collected and donated to youth organizations that help benefit less fortunate children during the holiday season. As in the past the Everblades players will hand deliver a portion of the stuffed toys to kids at the Children's Hospital of South West Florida.
