Today's Game

This evening the Bisons take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in the first two games of the series. The opening game tonight is the remainder of the suspended contest on April 20th Buffalo is returning to Sahlen Field to play nine games in seven days against the RailRiders and Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Following the homestand the Bisons will have an off day on Monday before a six-day road trip through the IL West.

Last Game: BUF 9, ROC 5

The Bisons used seven extra-base hits to defeat Rochester in the finale of their three-day series on Sunday. Patrick Kivlehan belted two of the team's four home runs, while Billy McKinney had a double and a homer in the winning effort. On the mound, Sean Reid-Foley went 5.1 IP to collect his second win of the season with Buffalo.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (2-6)

Buffalo and the RailRiders are meeting for the third time at Sahlen Field this season. The two teams opened the year in Buffalo, and were supposed to play a two-day, three game series in late April that was postponed. The Herd will still travel to Moosic two more times before the end of the year.

Today's Gm1 Starter

Zach Logue will be making his Triple-A debut tonight for Buffalo after beginning the season with New Hampshire (AA). With the Fisher Cats the left hander has made 10 starts, going 3-3 with a 3.70 ERA. Logue last picked up a win on 5/17, logging 6.1 IP at Hartford. He last worked on 5/29 at Harrisburg - 5.0 IP, 6H, 2R/ER, 2BB, 2SO.

Today's Gm2 Starter

Andrew Sopko is making his fifth start with the Bisons since being promoted from New Hampshire (AA). The righty is still in search of his first win with the Herd despite going nearly seven innings in his last start on 5/29 vs. Syracuse.

Patrick Kivlehan

On Sunday Patrick Kivlehan hit two home runs in the Bisons victory over Rochester. It was the second time in three days that the utility man belted two hommers for Buffalo. He now has eight on the season between Indianapolis and the Herd.

Billy McKinney

Both of Billy McKinney's hits on Sunday were extra base hits. In addition to a double off of a RHP Kohl Stewart, the outfielder also launched his first Triple- A home run off of the starter. He added four RBIs in the winning effort.

Blue Jays Update

Toronto (21-38) is off today after compleating a seven-day road trip. They will host the New York Yankees tomorrow for the first of a three-game series at Rogers Centre. The Blue Jays will then welcome in the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three-game set that will run through Sunday.
