
Birmingham Falls to Memphis on the Road 129-99

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League Affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, dropped Tuesday night's road game at Memphis 129-99 at the Landers Center.
The Squadron (4-16) led 30-25 after one but Memphis (11-5) took over after the first, outscoring Birmingham 33-18 in the second and 44-22 in the third. The loss marks the first time the Squadron have lost at Memphis.
Feron Hunt and Dereon Seabron each scored 20 to lead Birmingham, while James Kelly, Sr. notched 10 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Hunt has now paced the Squadron in scoring in back-to-back contests.
Kenneth Lofton, Jr.'s 20 points and 10 boards led the Hustle, while Dakota Mathias also poured in 20 points.
Birmingham returns to the hardwood on Saturday to take on the Austin Spurs on the road. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game can be seen locally on My68 WABM or nationally on NBAGLeague.com.
