2024-25 Squadron Promotional Schedule Released

October 2, 2024 - BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The full 2024-25 promotional schedule for the Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, was announced today by Squadron general manager Leslie Claybrook. "We pride ourselves on the game experience fans encounter when they attend a game at Legacy Arena at the BJCC," Claybrook said. Squadron Team Chaplain to Attempt to Break World Record

September 30, 2024 - BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Matt Bostic, team chaplain for the Birmingham Squadron, is set to attempt a new world record for free throws made in 24 hours in support of Life House Alabama, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to fight recidivism, the re-incarceration of individuals in the criminal justice system. Bostic will attempt to make 22,000 free throws in 24 hours, in symbolism of the 22,000 people who were re-incarcerated in the past year. Birmingham Squadron Announce 2024-25 Coaching Staff

September 27, 2024 - BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, today announced the team's full 2024-25 coaching staff, led by third-year head coach T.J. Saint. Saint is joined by assistant coaches Joe Barrer (second season), Jordan Surenkamp (first season) and Dante Milligan (first season). Under Saint's leadership last season, Birmingham had six total Gatorade call-ups, in addition to center Trey Jemison signing a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. Squadron to Hold Tailgate Ahead of Uab Football Game

September 26, 2024 - BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, in partnership with City Walk Bham, are set to host a tailgate event at City Walk Bham on Oct. 5 beginning at 9 a.m. and leading up to the UAB football team's noon kickoff against Tulane.
