Berschbach Assigned to Walleye

(Toledo, OH) -Forward Shane Berschbach has been reassigned to Toledo by the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. Toledo has also signed goaltender Neil Conway.

Berschbach, a native of Royal Oak, Michigan, has appeared in three games this season with the Walleye, scoring once while picking up one assist. The 23-year-old has appeared in five games this year for the Griffins with no points.

Conway spent most of last season with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL posting a record of 9-11-3 with a 3.10 goals against average and .913 save percentage. The native of Concord, Ohio split the 2012-13 season between now ECHL teams Rapid City and Quad City when they were members of the CHL. In his professional career, the 26- year-old goaltender has a record of 38-31-5, a 2.93GAA and .906SVP.

Toledo Walleye face off against the Fort Wayne Komets tonight at 7:15. Fans will want to be in their seats for a very special pregame ceremony honoring our Veterans and the men and women who currently serve our country.
