SET THE SCENE

The Oilers and Rush face off for the first of 11 meetings this season and the first of six contests at the BOK Center. Last weekend, the Oilers split a pair of games against the Allen Americans while the Rush is coming off a mid-week split with the Wichita Thunder. Tulsa sits two points back of Rapid City for the top spot in the Central Division and the Rush has played more games than any other team in the division. Adam Pleskach leads the Oilers with 13 points (9 goals, 4 assists) and former Oiler Dylan Clarke and Jesse Schultz lead the Rush with 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists). Last season, Tulsa was 3-2-0 overall against Rapid City and 0-2-0 on home ice.

KILLING IT

Since surrendering eight power play goals in their first four games, the Oilers' penalty kill has been flawless over the last four games. The Tulsa PK unit has wiped away 20 consecutive opposing power plays and has climbed from dead last in the league rankings to 18 th with an overall 80-percent success rate.

STREAKING ROOKIE

Held without a point in his first three games, rookie center Jeff Jubinville has recorded at least one point in four straight appearances and is on the longest point streak of any Oiler this season. The Edmonton native, who scored his first professional goal on Saturday night in Allen, has a goal and four assists in his last four outings.

DYNAMIC DUO

Top-line forwards Adam Pleskach and Jon Booras have accounted for 25 of the Oilers 89 total points or 28-percent of the total offense. Pleskach ranks second in the ECHL with nine goals and Booras continues to lead the league with 11 assists. Both players are averaging more than 1.5 points per game and have registered five multi-point games.

DIFFERENT STRIKES

The Oilers have found a way to score goals in nearly every possible odd-man situation. Tulsa has scored on traditional 5-on-4 power plays (5 times), a 5-on-3 power play (1 time), and a 4-on-3 power play (1 time). The Oilers have also netted a pair of shorthanded goals and scored with an extra attacker.

STRESSFUL STRETCH

On Friday at the BOK Center, the Oilers will begin a stretch of 10 games over the final 17 days of November. Tulsa is scheduled for three back-to-backs during that span with seven of the 10 games slated for home ice.

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS

Seven of the Oilers eight games this season have been decided by two goals or less and five of the eight have been decided by a single goal. Tulsa is 3-1-1 in one-goal games.
