Bears Begin 2004 Tonight in Hartford

HERSHEY invades the former home of the Hartford Whalers tonight as they kick off the 2004 portion of the schedule in the middle of a five game New England road trip. The BEARS play the second of five straight games away from GIANT Center tonight at the Hartford Civic Center against the first place Wolfpack. The current road trip began Tuesday with a 2-2 tie in Providence against the Bruins. Eric Perrin has two different streaks on the line tonight as the BEARS play in Connecticut. Perrin has goals in three straight games and points in five straight. Left wing Brad Larsen also carries a four game point streak into Hartford tonight as the BEARS begin a busy January that features 16 games in the next 30 days.

Tonight's game can be heard throughout central Pennsylvania on BIG 92.7 FM. John Walton calls the action from the Hartford Civic Center beginning with the pre-game show at 6:45 p.m.
