Syracuse, NY (January 2, 2004) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today that their Friday, January 9 game against Hershey will be East Syracuse Chevrolet Ice Scraper Night at the Crunch.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive an ice scraper, courtesy of East Syracuse Chevrolet. The ice scrapers are blue in color featuring the East Syracuse Chevrolet and Syracuse Crunch logos.
In addition, any person that stops by East Syracuse Chevrolet will receive a voucher good for $5 off a regular $15 ticket for the January 9 game against Hershey.
East Syracuse Chevrolet is located at 1 Chevy Dr., East Syracuse. For more information and directions, call 437-3311. East Syracuse Chevrolet will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2004.
The Crunch travel to Hamilton tonight to play the Bulldogs in a 7 p.m. match-up. Crunch action can be heard with play-by-play announcer Bob McElligott on 570WSYR or by visiting the Crunch's official website at www.syracusecrunch.com and clicking on the Listen Live link. Syracuse returns home to the War Memorial at Oncenter to host the Albany River Rats on Saturday, January 3 for SpongeBob SquarePants night at the Crunch. Game time is 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, January 4 Cleveland visits the War Memorial at Oncenter for a 5 p.m. game.
