New York State Lottery Night Set For January 9

Syracuse, NY (January 2, 2004) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the New York State Lottery will be on hand January 9, when the Crunch host the Hershey Bears, to distribute lotto coupons, to the first 500 people in attendance, redeemable for $1 off a New York Lottery's Free Play game.

During the game, fans will be selected at random to participate in the New York State Lottery intermission puck shoot-out. The two shoot-out winners will receive 25 "Money Tree" Instant Game Tickets. "Money Tree" offers players a chance to win a top prize of $25,000 on each ticket.

The New York State Lottery will also be on hand on February 13.

The Crunch travel to Hamilton tonight to play the Bulldogs in a 7 p.m. match-up. Crunch action can be heard with play-by-play announcer Bob McElligott on 570WSYR or by visiting the Crunch's official website at www.syracusecrunch.com and clicking on the Listen Live link. Syracuse returns home to the War Memorial at Oncenter to host the Albany River Rats on Saturday, January 3 for SpongeBob SquarePants night at the Crunch. Game time is 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, January 4 Cleveland visits the War Memorial at Oncenter for a 5 p.m. game.
