
Baysox Ready to Tackle Football

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today Football Funday Sunday, Sunday, July 25, as the team takes on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 6:05 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite football jerseys for the event that includes NFL giveaways, highlights, football-themed on-field promotions and a special tailgate ticket offer.
Baysox Sponsorships Account Manager Aaron Gunter will wear a Dallas Cowboys jersey for the event. "We have a lot of football fans in the office," Gunter said. "Fans will see employees Ravens gear, Eagles jerseys, Redskins gear and probably Vikings and Patriot jerseys, but my Miles Austin Cowboys jersey will be the best."
Baysox fans have several opportunities to win NFL prizes throughout the game. The prizes include footballs signed by the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts, as well as Baltimore Ravens t-shirts, hats and lanyards. Fans can also catch football highlights on the video board throughout the game.
For fans who are really excited for football to start again, the Baysox have prepared a special tailgate party. The party includes a two-hour pregame buffet in the tailgate tent and an upper reserved seat ticket for $20. The buffet starts at 4 p.m. and includes hot dogs, pulled barbecue chicken sandwiches, unlimited iced tea and lemonade and more.
