Chesapeake Baysox News Release

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today the return of Mustache Mania, Monday, July 19, as the team takes on the Binghamton Mets at 7:05 p.m. The event features a special ticket offer for mustachioed fans and mustache-themed contests and on-field promotions. Last year's Mustache Mania attracted some of the most creative lipsweaters ever displayed in public.

Baysox Director of Marketing witnessed the madness first-hand last year. "We offered mustachioed fans half-priced lower reserved seat tickets last year," Kaiser said. "And we saw an incredible amount of home-grown and homemade mustaches. Our fans got really creative, and the whole Baysox staff was behind the event, making it something really special. Our staff is really looking forward to this event again this year."

The popular Show Your 'Stache, Save Some Cash ticket offer remains returns this year; any fan with a mustache can purchase a lower reserved seat ticket for $7 (regularly $14). Mustaches can be either real or homemade for the ticket offer. In-between innings, the Baysox put mustaches to the test with contests including best, most colorful and most pathetic mustaches. The team also highlights famous mustaches on the video board throughout the game. All members of Baysox staff will show their enthusiasm for the event with mustaches of their own.

Think Outside The Box with the Baysox in 2010. The Baysox 18th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is underway at Prince George's Stadium. Catch all the action in exciting Natural Definition as the Baysox look to win their first Eastern League championship!
