Tanner Added to Western Division All-Star Roster

RICHMOND, VA - In conjunction with the Eastern League and the Harrisburg Senators, the Richmond Flying Squirrels have announced that LHP Clayton Tanner has been added to Western Division All-Star team and will participate in the Eastern League All-Star Game. The Eastern League All-Star Game will be contested at Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg, PA, on Wednesday, July 14th.

Tanner, 22, replaces RHP Daryl Maday who was promoted by the San Francisco Giants to Fresno (AAA). The lefty is currently ninth in the Eastern League with an ERA of 3.28. He has compiled a record of 4-5 in 15 starts while limiting the Eastern League to an average of .239. He went 2-1 with an ERA of 2.97 in five starts in June.

Tanner joins RHP Rafael Cova, SS Brandon Crawford and OF Thomas Neal who will also represent the Flying Squirrels in the Eastern League All-Star Game.
