Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release

Binghamton Mets ballplayers will arrive at NYSEG Stadium early on Wednesday, August 1st to participate in a special activity designed to raise funds for the Magic Paintbrush Project. Starting at 12:30 pm, the B-Mets will join forces with the special needs kids and their families of the Magic Paintbrush Project to paint special edition ceramic bowls provided by The Clay Ground.

These ice cream bowls will then be finished off at The Clay Ground and auctioned off at the Binghamton Mets 7:05 pm home game on Saturday, August 18th.

The Magic Paintbrush Project ™ builds bridges for special needs families by blending the needs of the individual with the needs of the family unit. Creatively capturing the abilities of the special needs individual and their caregivers with art materials, The Project enables participants to work together in new and exciting ways. For more information on the Magic Paintbrush Project, check out their site www.MagicPaintbrushProject.org.

B-Mets players will be available for interviews and photos throughout this event, expected to take approximately one hour. For more info, please contact Scott Brown at 723-METS.
