Atlanta United to Play at Orlando City SC in U.S. Open Cup Semifinal

ATLANTA - U.S. Soccer announced today that Atlanta United will travel to face Orlando City SC on Aug. 6 in the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The match will be played at Exploria Stadium with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN+).
Atlanta advanced to the semifinals for the first time in club history Wednesday by defeating Saint Louis FC 2-0. Orlando City SC will also make its first semifinal appearance after beating New York City FC in penalties.
The other semifinal features Minnesota United hosting Portland Timbers, with the U.S. Open Cup final to be played Aug. 27 or 28. If Atlanta was to advance, the club would host the final at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. All matches can be seen on ESPN+.
