The Americans will host the Kelowna Rockets tonight for the first game in a three game season series. It will be the first time the two teams have played since February 15, 2020 in Kelowna.

Tri-City is looking to get back in the win column with an upset victory over the Rockets, who come into tonight's game on a seven game win streak.

Both teams played last night. The Rockets defeated the Chiefs 4-1 in Spokane while the Americans fell 6-0 to the Winterhawks at home.

Tri-City was unable to break past the red hot Winterhawks who are on a 15-game point streak. Tomas Suchanek played the full game in net for the Americans. The Czech netminder stopped 36 of 42 shots faced.

Andrew Fan made his WHL debut with the Americans. The 2004-born forward was signed by the team in July and had been recovering from a long-term lower body injury.

Tonight will be the first time Talyn Boyko and Ethan Ernst have faced off against their former team.
