Action-Packed Weekend For Falcons
November 16, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release
FRESNO, Calif. âThe 2002-03 season has been a busy one for the Falcons, and the fun is just beginning! The Falcons return home from just their third road game of the season this Saturday night when they face Highway 99 rivals the Bakersfield Condors at 7:30 p.m. The Falcons have taken a cue from their fellow champions, the Anaheim Angels, and will be giving away 5,000 pairs of ThunderSticks to fans at Saturday's game, courtesy of Pelco. Fans will also have a chance to score a free ticket to a future game by donating to the Coats for Kids program. Donations will be collected outside the Northeast entrance to the arena prior to the game, and passed on to the Salvation Army for distribution to Valley families.
Fans will have two more chances to meet the Falcons this week, as players will be making appearances out in the community on Sunday and Monday! On Sunday afternoon from 1-3 p.m., two Falcons players and Freddie Falcon will be signing autographs at the grand opening of the Sports Station at Fashion Fair Mall. The Sports Station recently moved into its new location near Gottschalks, and is the premier location in the Valley to pick up Falcons and NHL merchandise. The Falcons are also participating in the Thanksgiving on the Mayflower food drive, with two players appearing at Saturn of Fresno on Blackstone to sign autographs and help collect donations between 5-6 p.m. on Monday.
The Falcons are back in action at home on Tuesday November 19th when the evil San Diego Gulls return to Selland Arena at 7 p.m. It's a Carl's Jr. Two for Tuesday game, so visit your local Carl's Jr. to get your 2 for 1 ticket coupon for the game. Less than 200 tickets remain for Saturday night's game against the Condors, so be sure to head down to Selland Arena's box office or any Ticketmaster location right away to secure your seats for this exciting WCHL match up! Tickets can be obtained over the phone through Ticketmaster by calling 485-8497 or on the web at www.ticketmaster.com. Call the Falcons office at 485-PUCK for more information!
