Miller Activated off Injured Reserve

BILOXI, Miss. – Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods announced today defenseman Austin Miller has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve.

Miller, 24, collected one goal, one assist and four penalty minutes in six games with Mississippi this season. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound native of Vestal, New York was placed on injured reserve November 2 and missed four games.

It's the second annual Nextel / Sea Wolves Howl Against Hunger tonight, as Mississippi welcomes Pensacola to the Wolves Den at 7:35 p.m. Fans are asked to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items for the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen in Biloxi. The first 3,000 fans will receive a ‘Howl Towel'.

During the postgame, there will be a jersey auction benefiting the Gulf Coast Youth Hockey Association.
