Gurtler Named to Finalist List for Tom Borrelli Media Person of the Year

May 7, 2025 - John Gurtler, long-time Buffalo Bandits play-by-play man, has been named a finalist for the Tom Borrelli Media Person of the Year award. Gurtler has called over 400 consecutive games since he started doing play-by-play for the Bandits in 2004. His voice has been synonymous with Bandits memories from John Tavares and Mark Steenhuis to Dhane Smith and Josh Byrne. Smith, Vinc, Buchanan and Loffler Named 2025 NLL Awards Finalists

May 7, 2025 - Buffalo Bandits forwards Dhane Smith and Kyle Buchanan, goaltender Matt Vinc and senior director of lacrosse operations Scott Loffler have been named finalists for the NLL's end-of-season awards, the league announced Wednesday. Smith was named a finalist for both NLL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year while Vinc is a finalist for Goaltender of the Year, Buchanan for the NLL's Sportsmanship Award and Loffler for Executive of the Year. MacKay's 6 Points Help Lead Bandits to 11-9 Win and 5th Consecutive NLL Finals Appearance

May 5, 2025 - Each game, Ian MacKay has grown more comfortable in his new role. After being a finalist for the Transition Player of the Year award last season, MacKay was injected into the already high-powered Buffalo Bandits offense in 2024-25 and finished second on the team in goals (37), nearly doubling his previous season high. Bandits to Host Game 1 of NLL Finals on Friday, May 16

May 5, 2025 - The Buffalo Bandits have clinched their fifth straight trip to the NLL Finals. The Bandits will host Game 1 of the Finals at KeyBank Center on Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. The full series schedule will be announced in the coming days.
