Philadelphia Union Sign Derrick Jones as Homegrown Player

July 27, 2016 - CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union have signed midfielder Derrick Jones as a Homegrown Player, the club announced Wednesday. Jones originally joined the Philadelphia Union Academy in November 2013 and later became the first player to ever sign with USL expansion team Bethlehem Steel FC in December 2015. July 23, 2016 - MONTREAL, Quebec - Philadelphia Union fell to Montreal Impact Saturday night in front of a sold out crowd of 20,801 at Stade Saputo. The Impact received a hat-trick from Didier Drogba to secure the 5-1 victory. The Union will be in action next Sunday when they host Real Salt Lake at Talen Energy Stadium. July 22, 2016 - CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union have announced the club has brought on veteran broadcaster Janusz Michallik to serve as the color analyst for their remaining two matches in July. The former U.S. Men's National Team player will call the matches alongside play-by-play man JP Dellacamera for the July 23 match against Montreal Impact, televised on TCN, as well as the July 31 home match against Real Salt Lake, televised on CSN.
