April 30, 2025 - The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), Canada's largest professional sports league, announced today that the team has re-signed guard Tyrrel Tate for the 2025 season.
The BlackJacks all-time franchise leader in games played (48) and three-point field goals (80) returns to the team to participate in his third season with the club, and fifth CEBL season overall. April 28, 2025 - The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), Canada's largest professional sports league, announced today that the team has re-signed forward Deng Adel for the 2025 season.
The franchise's career scoring leader returns for his fourth season with the team in a year which could also see him establish new team records in career assists and rebounds as he sits three and four short of the mark in both categories respectively. April 23, 2025 - The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), Canada's largest professional sports league, announced today that the team has re-signed guard Keevan Veinot for the 2025 season.
The 6'4" Canadian returns to the BlackJacks after establishing personal career highs last season in all major statistical categories including points per-game (12.2), assists per-game (5.0), rebounds per-game (3.2) and minutes per-game (28.2) in what was his third season of CEBL play.

April 21, 2025 - The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), Canada's largest professional sports league, announced today that the team has re-signed guard Tevin Brown for the 2025 season.
Brown rejoins the BlackJacks after making his CEBL debut last season where he ultimately led Ottawa in points per-game (17.2), three-point field goals made per-game (3.6) and minutes per-game (31.4) across his 10 appearances.
