May 7, 2026 - The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced today that the team has re-signed Javonte Smart for the 2026 Season. The 6 '4 guard, originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, returns to Ottawa after a breakout CEBL season with Ottawa, averaging 26 points. Ottawa BlackJacks Add Yohann Sam and Louth-Mohamed Coulibaly Through Inaugural CEBL Signing Day

April 8, 2026 - The Ottawa BlackJacks have added two Canadian student-athletes to their 2026 roster as part of the Canadian Elite Basketball League's inaugural Signing Day, signing guard Yohann Sam and center Louth-Mohamed Coulibaly. Ottawa BlackJacks Add G League Forward Alex Fudge

April 2, 2026 - The Ottawa BlackJacks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced today that the club has signed forward Alex Fudge for the 2026 season. Fudge, a six-foot-nine forward from Jacksonville, Fla., joins Ottawa during the 2025-26 NBA G League season, where he is currently playing for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
