March 4, 2026 - Offseason trade addition Nicholas Volkov found out that Callum Jones trains the hardest on the Black Bears the hard way last summer, when he accompanied Jones for a 7 a.m. workout one Saturday morning.
"I had to wake up at five, this was like an hour drive away," recounted Volkov, who, like Jones, hails from Burlington, just south of Toronto. "And I got worked. I was on my hands and knees, begging."

available for purchase effective immediately, with Early Bird Prices available until March 31.

March 1, 2026 - Black Bears fans, coaches, and players - and really, anyone who found themselves inside of Canadian Tire Centre on Saturday night - might need to book visits to their cardiologists on Monday (thanks, Dan MacRae, for the suggestion).
Down as many as five goals to the Oshawa FireWolves at the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Black Bears staged a frenetic comeback, scoring eight goals in the frame, including four in a span of 1:36 of game time.

The FireWolves have struggled to pick up wins during their inaugural season north of the border - they relocated from Albany in the summer - and sport a 2-9 record heading into the contest.
