July 9, 2026 - OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa Charge of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) announced today that Canadian Tire Centre will become the team's primary home venue beginning with the 2026-27 season, ushering in a new era for women's professional hockey in the nation's capital. Ottawa Charge Re-Sign Kadirova with Two-Year Deal

July 8, 2026 - OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa Charge today announced that forward Fanuza Kadirova has been re-signed to a two-year Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement through the 2027-28 season. Kadirova was among the team's three protections in Phase 3 of the Expansion Player Distribution Process. Kadirova was very productive in her first PWHL season, scoring 10 goals and 12 points in 28 regular-season games after being selected by the Charge in the sixth round (45th overall) in the 2025 PWHL Draft. Rebecca Leslie Signs Extension with Ottawa Charge Through 2027-28

July 7, 2026 - OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa Charge today announced that forward Rebecca Leslie has extended her Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement by one year and is now signed through the 2027-28 season. The Ottawa native was entering the second season of a two-year contract previously signed in June 2025. June 25, 2026 - OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa Charge today announced that goaltender Sanni Ahola and defender Vita Poniatovskaia have each been re-signed to one-year Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreements for the 2026-27 season. The signings were completed during the league's Open Signing Period that allows all 12 teams to continue building their rosters in advance of the 2026-27 campaign.
