Ottawa Charge Add Finnish Coach Juuso Toivola to Staff

August 29, 2025 - OTTAWA, ON -  The Ottawa Charge announced today the addition of Juuso Toivola as an assistant coach, joining the team's staff ahead of the 2025-26 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season.    Toivola is a 54-year-old from Seinäjoki, Finland, who has over 20 years of experience in women's international hockey. Ottawa Charge Extend Playoff Top Scorer Emily Clark Through 2027-28

August 7, 2025 - OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa Charge announced today that forward Emily Clark has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep the team's top playoff scorer in Canada's national capital through the 2027-28 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season. The 29-year-old from Saskatoon, SK, has served as an alternate captain for the Charge since the inaugural season when she was one of the team's first three foundational players signed to a three-year agreement. Ottawa Charge Extend Playoff MVP Gwyneth Philips Through 2027-28

July 28, 2025 - OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa Charge are proud to announce that goaltender Gwyneth Philips has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep the Playoff MVP in Canada's national capital through the 2027-28 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season. This marks the first time in team history where a player currently signed for the upcoming season has been signed to an extension. Ottawa Charge Secure First-Round Pick Rory Guilday for Three Years

July 25, 2025 - OTTAWA, ON - The Ottawa Charge have secured their first-round pick from the 2025 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Draft, signing defender Rory Guilday, the fifth overall selection, to a three-year Standard Player Agreement that will run through the 2027-28 season. The 22-year-old Chanhassen, Minnesota native capped a four-year tenure at Cornell University by producing 52 points (19G, 33A) in 106 games and earned All-Ivy League honors on three occasions including two straight First-Team nods.
