May 9, 2025 - Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Flying Boxcars took one of three against York in a midweek series. The Boxcars opened up the series with a doubleheader after Tuesday's scheduled game got rained out. The Boxcars would split the doubleheader, winning game two in extra innings. In game one, David Richardson stood out on the mound, sitting down nine batters - a Boxcars season high. Boxcars, CNB Bank Announce Community Hero Initiative

May 6, 2025 - Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Flying Boxcars are proud to partner with CNB Bank to introduce Community Hero Nights at Meritus Park. Beginning May 14th, the Flying Boxcars will offer $6 tickets to community heroes and one guest, every Wednesday night. Community heroes include first responders, educators, active and retired veterans, healthcare employees and more. Boxcars Take One from Lexington

May 3, 2025 - Hagerstown, MD - The Boxcars took one of three against Lexington, to kick off their longest road trip of the season. Hagerstown opened the series on Tuesday night, taking down the Legends 5-4. David Richardson was stellar on the mound for the Boxcars, going 4.2 innings, allowing one earned run and struck out six. Rafael Kelly shut the side down in the ninth to record his second save of the season. Boxcars Steal a Win on Opening Weekend

April 28, 2025 - Hagerstown, MD - The Boxcars took a win from the FerryHawks on Sunday - their first win of 2025. The Boxcars opened the season Friday night (4/25) on a rainy evening at Meritus Park. After the weather delay left three runners stranded on base, the Boxcars couldn't bring them home after the break and fell 6-1 in the season opener.
