December 3, 2025 - The Port Huron Prowlers will wrap up a five-game road trip, and a stretch of seven of eight games away from home, this weekend when they visit the Binghamton Black Bears. The last time the Prowlers were at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena was last season's playoffs when they were eliminated in a decisive game three. December 1, 2025 - BASEBALL Canadian Baseball League: Canada's semi-pro Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), which has been playing since 1919 and included collegiate prospects and players with professional experience, announced plans to become a full professional independent league starting in 2026 as the renamed Canadian Baseball League (CBL). The IBL operated with nine teams located in southern Ontario for the 2025 season and all of those teams are now listed as CBL members. River Dragons Acquire the Rights to Tate Leeson from Topeka

December 1, 2025 - COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus River Dragons announced today that the team has acquired the rights to forward Tate Leeson from the Topeka Scarecrows in exchange for future considerations. The River Dragons have a 30-day window to sign Tate to a standard player-agreement. Leeson, 26, is a forward from Smith Falls, Ontario, who most recently skated with the Watertown Wolves during the 2024-25 season. In 15 games with Watertown that year, he notched 24 points (7G, 17A). Scarecrows Snag Weekend Series and Game, 2-1

November 30, 2025 - After a Friday-Saturday split the Scarecrows and Prowlers met on Sunday in an effort to decide the weekend series. Though both teams found victories it seemed as though little was settled coming into the game. Topeka holds five games in hand over the visiting Prowlers after having two weeks off in November and came in looking to make up ground. Topeka came out firing for the second time in two nights.
