Wranglers shuffle roster, Jozsa heads to AHL

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Jason Jozsa has signed a professional tryout agreement with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. The team also activated defenseman Jason Dest and forward Josh Sciba. Left wing Shawn Limpright was placed on the seven-day injured reserve.
Jozsa heads to Grand Rapids for his second stint in the AHL this season. The 26-year old defenseman leaves as the Wranglers leading scorer among blueliners. Jozsa's 28 assists are tied for third among ECHL defenseman. In 49 games with Las Vegas this season, Jozsa has two goals and 30 points. His +13 rating is fourth highest on the team among active Wranglers. Jozsa was scoreless in two games with Quad City of the AHL earlier this season. For his career, Jozsa has 25 goals and 96 assists for 121 points in 330 games played.
Limpright, the Wranglers all-time leading scorer, is expected to be out at least eight weeks with a lower-body injury sustained in Monday's 4-3 win over Bakersfield at the Orleans Arena. Dest returns after missing the last 12 games with an upper-body injury. Sciba is expected to play after missing the last 16 games with an upper-body injury.
Las Vegas will embark on an 11-day road trip with three games in Alaska and Victoria starting Friday, February 22nd in Anchorage, AK.
