Who can forget the last meeting between the Bombers and Chiefs at Hobart on December 15? The Bombers dominated Johnstown to the tune of an 8-3 victory on a career night for rookie All-Star Matt Beaudoin. The former Ohio State University standout came away with a career-high five points on three goals and two assists. His first period hat trick was the first of his professional career. Fellow All-Star Yannick Tifu, who is currently on loan to the "AAA" American Hockey League's Rochester Americans, tied a career record with five assists that night.
Your Bombers are 5-2-0-1 against Johnstown overall this season and 3-0-0 at home, including a 3-0 shutout on January 25 posted by rookie Jeremy Duchesne (pictured).
The Bombers return to action at the Nutter Center on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 against the Trenton Devils and Sunday, March 16 against Cincinnati as part of a three-day St. Patrick's Day weekend featuring specialty jerseys for auction!
