- Trenton is 5-4-0 this season, including 2-1-0 on the road, against Reading and 40-24-8 all-time against the Royals.
- Reading is 4-0-1 in their last five games and 7-2-1 in their last 10 games.
- Devils' Jason Smith is 1-0-0 with a 0.92 goals-against average in one game against Reading.

Johnstown Chiefs (23-23-4) at Cincinnati Cyclones (38-8-3) 7:30 p.m. ET

- Johnstown is 26.1 percent (6-for-23) on the power play in their last five games.
- Cyclones' David Desharnais extended ECHL season-high assist streak to 16 games (24a) with two assists Thursday.

- Celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08, the ECHL is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.

- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 25 teams playing 900 games in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08.

- The league officially changed its name to ECHL on May 19, 2003.
