Wranglers Nip Aces, 2-1

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Alaska Aces 2-1 at the Orleans Arena on Wednesday night. Ryan Christie and Jeff Attard each scored a goal and added an assist in the Wranglers' win. Goaltender Marc Magliarditi finished with 18 saves for his league-leading seventh win of the year. Las Vegas out shot Alaska 39-19 on the night. The Wranglers will end their eight-game home stand on Friday when they host the Bkaersfield Condors.

The Wranglers opened scoring with a power-play goal as Jeff Attard deflected a Dave Cousineau shot for the 1-0 lead. Las Vegas extended their lead to 2-0 when Ryan Christie poked in a rebound in front of heavy traffic in the Alaska crease. Christie's third goal of the season came halfway through the second period. Alaska would trim the lead to 2-1 as Joe Talbot scored on the power play for the Aces.

The Wranglers complete their eight-game home stand Friday night against the Bakersfield Condors at 7:05. The first 2,000 fans through the gates of the Orleans Arena will receive a Wranglers' License Plate holder. The Wranglers' will also wear commemorative Veteran's Day jerseys to be auctioned off for charity after the game.
