ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, in conjunction with United Way of Atlantic County, today unveiled their newest community program, the Power Play for United Way. The program will commence tonight, when the Bullies host the Trenton Titans at Boardwalk Hall, and continue throughout the remainder of the season.

The main goal of Power Play for United Way is to raise money through area businesses and organizations to improve the lives of those in need here in Atlantic County. For every power play goal the Bullies score this season, those businesses and organizations will donate $10 dollars to United Way of Atlantic County.

"The Boardwalk Bullies organization is excited about teaming up with United Way to better the lives of people in our community," said Dan Belisle, Bullies Vice President and General Manager. "Through the Power Play for United Way, we know we have an opportunity to make a difference.

Currently, Advance Door & Supply Co., Human Resources Solutions, Kline Construction, Sands Casino Hotel, and Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts all have joined the Power Play for United Way.

"We are looking forward to our continued partnership with the Boardwalk Bullies," said John G. Emge, Executive Director for United Way of Atlantic County. "The Power Play for United Way is a unique way for local businesses to help make available programs and services that benefit those in need.
