
Select Bombers Games to be Broadcast on 99.5 FM-WGXM and 106.9 FM-WWSU

Dayton Bombers News Release
The Dayton Bombers have announced that 33 of their remaining games in the 2003-2004 season will be broadcast locally on 99.5 FM-WGXM and that four games will be aired on 106.9 FM-WWSU. These broadcast arrangements come in addition to the web streaming of games. All of the Dayton Bombers' games during the 2003-2004 campaign can be heard via the web at www.daytonbombers.com (Media Center- Listen Live section) in association with www.broadcastmonsters.com, a Washington D.C.-based, streaming media company that will also provide archival "replays" of the game broadcasts.
"These broadcast developments will enhance the awareness of Dayton Bombers' hockey in the Miami Valley and deepen our relationship with our loyal fans," said Bombers' Play-by-Play Voice/Director of Media Relations Matt Gorsky. "We are looking forward to bringing the excitement of Dayton Bombers' hockey to local airwaves and are thrilled to be partnered with 99.5 FM-WGXM and 106.9 FM-WWSU in this endeavor."
All of the Dayton Bombers' game broadcasts- those aired solely on the internet and those aired simultaneously on either 99.5 FM-WGXM or 106.9 FM-WWSU- will begin with the pre-game show 15 minutes prior to the scheduled game time and end approximately 15 minutes after the game concludes (post-game show).
Below is the Dayton Bombers' full broadcast schedule for remaining 2003-2004 games. Those noted with an asterisk (*) are the 33 games that can also be heard on 99.5 FM-WGXM. The first game broadcast on 99.5 FM-WGXM is scheduled for Friday, November 21, 2003 @ Toledo (7:30 p.m./7:15 p.m. broadcast time). Those noted with a plus sign (+) are the four games that can be heard on 106.9 FM-WWSU. The first game broadcast on 106.9 FM-WWSU is scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2003 @ Cincinnati (7:30 p.m./7:15 p.m. broadcast time). The Bombers' next game is Sunday, November 9 at Wheeling against the Nailers (6:00 p.m. game/ 5:45 p.m. broadcast time on www.daytonbombers.com- Media Center/Listen Live section- in association with www.broadcastmonsters.com). The Bombers will go head-to-head against their rivals from West Virginia during a Sunday evening affair. The Bombers will try to avenge a 6-0 pre-season loss to the Nailers on Wednesday, October 8 in Canonsburg, PA.
The Bombers' next home game is Sunday, November 16, 2003 vs. Peoria (4:00 p.m.). The Bombers will have another 'Kids Silly Sunday' event at the game, featuring many fun-filled activities for kids, including magic, balloon animals, face painting, and clowns. It will also be another Bucky's Flight Crew day, presented by Office Depot. In addition, the Bombers will have a "Skate With Fans Session" after the game.
