
Wranglers Bounce Falcons 6-1

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Fresno Falcons 6-1 Friday night in front of 6,589 fans at the Orleans Arena. Wranglers forward Steve Crampton scored two goals in the win as the Wranglers moved to 20-1-2 at home this season. Center Matt Dzieduszyski scored a goal and added three assists for Las Vegas, Left wing Dan Tudin scored once and assisted on two others, becoming the team's all-time leading scorer with 98 career points. Goalie Marc Magliarditi picked up his league-leading 24th win of the season with 17 saves. The Wranglers remain at home to host the Utah Grizzlies on Saturday night at 7:05pm at the Orleans Arena.
In the first period, Dan Tudin tallied his fifth shorthanded goal of the season at 3:28 to give the Wranglers a 1-0 lead. Center Matt Dzieduszycki added to the lead with a power-play goal at 10:29 of the period, giving Las Vegas a 2-0 lead. Fresno's Shawn Mather scored for the Falcons at 13:28 to cut the Wranglers lead in half, going into the break.
In the second period, Shawn Limpright scored at 11:59 of the period, to lift the Wranglers to a 3-1 advantage. Right wing Steve Crampton added to the lead with his 13th of the year at 12:57, as Las Vegas led 4-1 after two periods of play.
In the third period, Crampton added his second goal of the game at 2:26 of the third period to give the Wranglers a four-goal lead. Left wing Marco Peluso scored for the fifth straight home game at 5:36, for the 6-1 final score.
The Wranglers will round out the weekend by welcoming in the Utah Grizzlies on Saturday at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena. Prior to the game from 4:30-6:30 fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.
