
Royals' Road Warriors Don War Paint for Trenton

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the Royals' Road Warriors are going to pile in the buses and travel as a large group to the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, for the Royals' game against the Trenton Titans on Sunday, March 26, at 3:00 pm. For a fee of $35.00, participants in the Road Warriors travel team get round trip bus transportation courtesy of Beiber Tourways, a Road Warriors T-Shirt, and a ticket to the game. The buses will depart from the Fairgrounds Square Mall in Reading at 12:30 pm on March 26. All are welcome to join the Royals' Road Warriors travel team and reservations for this bus trip can be made by visiting the customer service booth at a Royals game or calling the Royals' office at 610-898-7825.
Gordon Kaye, the general manager of the Royals stated, "our fans have shown that they are willing to travel in a large numbers, and this Road Warriors' trip to Trenton is a great way for all of our fans to band together and bring a large and solid wave of purple presence to the Sovereign Bank Arena. We want to make sure that everyone at the game on March 26 knows that Reading fans have shown up en masse to help boost the Royals towards a win. In short, we believe that Reading fans are the best in the league, and we expect to demonstrate this live and in person in rather dramatic fashion to our closest rivals on March 26."
Starting tonight, the Royals are in Dayton for two in a row against the Bombers-Friday (7:00 pm) and Saturday (7:00 pm) at the E.J. Nutter Center. The Royals return home on Sunday for a 3:30 match-up against the Titans. Immediately prior to next Sunday's game, the Reading Fire Department will take on the Reading Police Department in the First Annual Battle of the Badges Charity Hockey Game, which will serve to raise funds for the Michael H. Wise II Memorial Foundation. All fans with a ticket to the Royals game on Sunday, February 19, can also gain admittance to the Battle of the Badges, which will begin at 1:00 pm. Royals' game day broadcasts can be heard on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata and www.royalshockey.com with pre-game beginning 30 minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available through the Royals' website on a pay per view basis provided by B2 Networks.
